The NRVs (nutrient reference values) are a set of recommendations for nutritional intake based on currently available scientific knowledge.
The Australian Department of Health and Ageing, in conjunction with the New Zealand Ministry of Health is currently reviewing the NRVs to ensure that they remain relevant, appropriate and useful. For further information on the review please visit the Department of Health and Ageing website.
